What is the heat transfer process?
The heat transfer process in the digital printing machine is a technology that uses dot printing (resolution 300DPI) to print the pattern in advance on the surface of the film and then transfer it to the surface of the product. The pattern formed by printing in this way is rich in layers, colorful, the pattern is ever-changing, and the color difference is small, which greatly improves the grade of the product, can meet the customer's requirements for the pattern and color, and is suitable for mass production.
Classification of heat transfer process in digital printing machine
In digital printing machines, clothing heat transfer is most widely used, but the common heat transfer methods include the following two:
(1) Sublimation heat transfer
In simple terms, sublimation heat transfer is to print the disperse dye on a specific paper with a machine in advance, and then use this paper to transfer the pattern on the paper to the fabric with high temperature and pressure to complete the entire thermal transfer printing process.
(2) Heat transfer
Different from the sublimation heat transfer printing method, the printing material does not have the sublimation effect like the sublimation dye. The printing material does not penetrate under the high temperature and pressure such as the inside of the fabric fiber. Although it can also be pressed with a transfer machine, it is only attached to the surface, which not only has a poor feel, but also greatly reduces the breathability of the clothes.

(1) Printing is simple
The heat transfer process does not require the steps of plate making, plate printing, and repetitive color registration, and it does not require various types of tools and materials required for screen printing. Only one computer and one operator can complete the printing operation The method is simple.
(2) Accurate location
The heat transfer process avoids the problem of position shift that is easy to occur in the manual printing process, it can accurately align the area and position to be printed. At the same time, because it is a one-time printing, the problem of registration and registration is also avoided. The printed pattern has a delicate transition, and the picture quality is more accurate and excellent.
(3) Multiple printing
As for the digital printing industry, there are more specialized industry divisions, such as traditional printing in the leather industry: single screen printing with simple transition colors; large leather printing machines are expensive and require high quality materials; the organic glass industry requires screen printing,the crystal industry needs crystal film technology and so on.
