When replacing ink cartridge for Fedar sublimation printer, you must follow steps in operation manual. printer needs to replace ink cartridge with power on, because sublimation textile printer will charge ink delivery system after replacing ink cartridge. In addition, ink capacity of Fedar sublimation printer is measured by electronic counter inside printer. During ink cartridge replacement process, sublimation textile printer will reset its internal electronic counter to confirm that a new ink cartridge is installed.

Please pay attention to following points when replacing ink cartridges:

(1) Do not touch outlet of ink cartridge with your hands to prevent impurities from mixing into ink cartridge;

(2) Ink cartridge should be handled gently to prevent ink leakage;

(3) Ink is conductive. If it is spilled on circuit board, wipe it with absolute ethanol (alcohol) and dry it before powering on, otherwise circuit components may be damaged;

(4) Ink cartridge should be stored in a dust-free place away from light, and storage temperature should be between -10°C and 35°C.
