Is it normal that there is air in pipeline of Fedar sublimation printer?

During normal use of Fedar sublimation printer, each ink delivery line has air. Ink supply system adopts siphon principle, and there is always a small section of air on continuous supply print cartridge, which is to let ink flow by itself.

If you see some small air in ink delivery line, don't worry, this is normal. Air layer on ink cartridge expands and contracts with change of indoor temperature. When Fedar sublimation printer is not in use, for example, there is an air section of no more than 15 cm on ink delivery line at interface of print cartridge. This is due to air expansion caused.

However, if air appears in entire section, it may be caused by a leak in ink cartridge or a leak at elbow interface or a broken elbow of Fedar sublimation printer. If there is a whole section of air in an ink delivery line, please check sealing condition of interface between ink filling elbow and print cartridge.Elbow can be removed for inspection and reinstalled. If entire section of air appears in each ink delivery line, check whether ink outlet of Fedar sublimation printer cartridge is leaking or replace with a new one.
