Nowadays, the application of digital printing machines in the digital printing industry is becoming more and more common, but because inkjet is relatively "squeaky" and "quite particular about usage", if you want it to work efficiently for yourself, you must master some of these operating tips. Here are some ways to save ink.
1.Try to focus on printing
When using a piezoelectric digital printing machine, the worst thing is to print it every few minutes. If you need to print a lot of things, I suggest you collect the things that need to be printed and print them together. Because every time the machine is started, the print head must be cleaned, the printer must be initialized, and the ink delivery system must be filled with ink. This process wastes a lot of ink, so try not to start the machine frequently.
2.Clean the print head correctly
Most inkjet printing equipment will automatically clean the print head when it is turned on, and there are buttons to clean the print head. If the automatic cleaning function of the device is invalid, you can manually clean the print head. Manual cleaning should follow the steps in the operation manual to disassemble the print head. For manual cleaning of the print head, a thin rubber tube can be placed in the front of the medical syringe and rinsed with strictly filtered water. When flushing, use a magnifying glass to carefully observe the nozzle hole. If there is siltated residue beside the nozzle hole, it can be removed with a soft rubber product.
The integrated print head that has been left unused for a long time blocks the nozzles due to the dry ink, and can be cleaned after soaking in hot water. Pay attention to the following points when cleaning the print head: A. Do not clean the print head with sharp objects, do not hit the print head, do not touch the print head with your hands; B. Do not disassemble or install the print head in a charged state, and do not touch the print head with your hands or other objects. Electrical contacts; C. The nozzle cannot be removed from the printer and placed alone, and the nozzle cannot be placed in a dusty place.
3.Do not replace the ink cartridge immediately
We know that digital printing equipment detects the amount of ink in the ink cartridge through an inductive sensor. As long as the sensor detects that the ink amount of one of the colors is less than the value set in the printer, it will prompt to replace the ink cartridge. At this time, we can take out the ink cartridge to reset the internal sensor of the printer to confirm the installation of a new ink cartridge.
4.Minimize the number of cleanings
The inkjet head is often clogged during the use of the equipment. There are many reasons for the clogging, such as the working environment of the machine, the quality of the ink, the time the machine is idle, etc., because each cleaning of the inkjet head consumes a large amount of ink, so The number of times to clean the inkjet head should be reduced as much as possible. Of course, when using the machine, it should be noted that the type of ink specified by the machine manufacturer should be used as much as possible.
